PRIVACY NOTICE

A plain-English guide to how Taruz Creative handles personal information.

This notice explains how information is used when you contact Taruz Creative, request a quote or work on a project. It is not intended to replace any project-specific terms agreed with you.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Taruz Creative is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. If you have a question about this notice or your information, contact taruzcreative@gmail.com.

2. What information may be collected?

This may include your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred contact method, organisation, project brief, chosen service or package, budget range, deadline, and any inspiration or reference links you choose to share. During a project, it may also include correspondence, agreed scope, quotes, confirmations, invoices, receipts and other project records.

3. How is it obtained and used?

Most information comes directly from you when you email, submit a project enquiry, speak with Taruz Creative or work on a project. It is used to respond to an enquiry, prepare a quote, communicate with you in your preferred way, plan and deliver the work, issue project paperwork, keep reasonable business records, and protect the business and its clients.

4. Lawful bases

Where you ask for a quote or take steps towards a project, information is normally used because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. If a project proceeds, it is used to perform that contract. Taruz Creative may also use information where necessary for legitimate interests, such as administering projects, keeping records and protecting the business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights. Information may be retained or disclosed where necessary to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Consent is not the default basis for ordinary project enquiries or project administration. If a separate consent-based activity is introduced, it will be explained at the point it is offered.

5. Quotes, confirmations, invoices and receipts

Project and client details may be used to prepare and maintain quotes, project confirmations, invoices, payment receipts and related records. These documents help keep the agreed scope, prices, payment position and project history clear.

6. Storage, service providers and security

Project and client records are kept in private business systems with access limited to authorised use. Taruz Creative may use service providers for website delivery, email, secure business-record storage and quote-form processing where needed to operate the service. The Quote form uses Formspree to process submitted enquiry fields and deliver them to Taruz Creative. Providers should only process information as needed for their services and under their own applicable terms and safeguards.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. However, no internet-based service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, Taruz Creative will seek to use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for the transfer, such as contractual protections or another lawful transfer mechanism. The location and safeguards can depend on the provider and service used.

8. Retention

Project and enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including project administration, record keeping and legal or accounting obligations. A more detailed retention schedule may be introduced as the business develops.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can also ask questions about how information is being used. Some rights have legal limits or may not apply in every situation.

To make a request, email taruzcreative@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the information and request. Taruz Creative may need to confirm your identity before responding.

10. Complaints

Please contact Taruz Creative first so concerns can be considered. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Information on making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint .

11. Cookies and similar technologies

The public creative site does not currently use first-party analytics, advertising pixels, or a cookie-based tracking system. One session-only preference may be stored in your browser to avoid replaying the professional portfolio introduction during the same browsing session. This is functional storage, not advertising or analytics tracking, and it is cleared when the browser session ends.

The public site also loads standard third-party resources such as fonts, icon files and interface libraries. Those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address when the resource is requested. This notice will be updated if optional analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced.

12. Changes to this notice

This notice may change as Taruz Creative’s services or information practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the update date shown above.
